Fairfax
The Fairfax bitmap font has been superceded by its scalable vector counterpart, Fairfax HD.
Fairfax is a 6x12 bitmap font for terminals, text editors, IDEs, etc. It supports many scripts and a large number of Unicode blocks as well as constructed scripts as encoded in the Under-ConScript Unicode Registry, pseudographics and semigraphics, and tons of private use characters.

There are eight variants of Fairfax included in the download:
- Fairfax is the main variant, with bold and italic styles. Use this one if possible.
- Fairfax Serif is a serif variant. It lacks bold and italic styles, however.
- Fairfax Pona adds OpenType features that automatically transcribe sitelen Lasina (Latin letters) into sitelen pona (the logographic writing system for toki pona).
- Fairfax Pula adds OpenType features that automatically transcribe titi Latila (Latin letters) into titi pula (the logographic writing system for tuki tiki).
- Fairfax Hax adds ligatures for programming, which is apparently a thing.
- Fairfax Serif Hax is the programming ligature variant of Fairfax Serif.
- Fairfax SM removes all characters not the same width as basic ASCII (combining characters, double-width characters, fixed-width spaces, etc.) for braindead programs that determine if a font is monospaced from its advance widths and not its PANOSE values (GNOME Terminal does this).
- Fairfax Serif SM is the strictly-monospaced variant of Fairfax Serif.
ConScript Support
As of the November 25, 2020 release, Fairfax supports all scripts that can possibly be supported in the (U)CSUR. For a detailed list, see the Unicode Coverage section below. The only scripts not supported are: Engsvanyali, which is too complex to be feasible; Streich, Serivelna, Ssûraki, and Timothy Miller’s Ferengi, whose glyphs have been lost to time; and Tassarunese and Semtog, whose character names and glyphs have not yet been submitted to the UCSUR. Fairfax is possibly the first font to provide (as complete as possible) support for the (U)CSUR.

- Hemi-Demi-Semicolon: If you don’t know when it’s appropriate to use a semicolon, and you’re too lazy to learn, you can use this in place of commas, semicolons, and periods. Pretty much wherever you feel like it. Now I can act superior and avoid learning anything I’m a stain on humanity.
- Andorpersand: One simple symbol for “and/or.” Some people hate the very existence of the phrase “and/or,” but these people are uptight stupid.
- Mockwotation Marks: For quoting something that someone didn’t say, but totally would say with the way they’re being right now. The written equivalent of doing an impression of someone by wiggling your hands by your head and saying “look at me, I’m so-and-so” in a high-pitched voice. I’m Stacey. I’m going to complain about being hungry but not offer any suggestions of my own, said Stacey.
- Superellipsis: For an extreme dramatic pause. When you want the reader to wait a good 20 seconds before reading the next part of the sentence. Maybe even imagine the lights flickering and some thunder crashing. He paused, cautiously, as he approached the superellipsis. On the other side he found more words!
- Morgan Freemark: Reminds readers that they can read words in any voice they want, so maybe they should read these words in Morgan Freeman’s voice. And so, Kevin took this big swig of vodka and straight-up ran head-first into the wall.
